LocalPlay MCP Server

A project for running a local MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that implements mouse control functionality.

Installation

Install dependencies using uv:

uv add "mcp[cli]" pyautogui

Or using pip:

pip install "mcp[cli]" pyautogui

Usage

Starting the Server

Run the following command to start the MCP development server:

    "localplay-mcp-server": {
      "command": "uv",
      "args": [
        "--directory",
        "/path/localplay-mcp-server",
        "run",
        "server.py"
      ]
    }

使用Docker | Using Docker

You can also use Docker to run the server:

# 构建Docker镜像 | Build the Docker image
docker build -t localplay-mcp-server .

# 运行Docker容器 | Run the Docker container
docker run -p 8080:8080 localplay-mcp-server

Server Features

The server currently implements the following mouse control features:

  • 移动鼠标 | Move Mouse: 将鼠标移动到指定坐标位置 | Move the mouse to a specified coordinate position
  • 鼠标点击 | Mouse Click: 在当前或指定位置执行鼠标点击操作 | Perform mouse click operations at the current or specified position
  • 鼠标拖拽 | Mouse Drag: 从一个位置拖拽到另一个位置 | Drag from one position to another

Usage Examples

(100, 200) | Move the mouse to specified coordinates, e.g. (100, 200)
  2. 鼠标点击 | Mouse Click: 在当前位置或指定位置进行点击操作 | Click at the current or specified position
  3. 鼠标拖拽 | Mouse Drag: 从起始位置拖拽到目标位置 | Drag from a starting position to a target position
  4. 鼠标滚动 | Mouse Scroll: 执行向上或向下的滚动操作 | Perform scrolling operations up or down

Runtime guide

cloud

Hosted runtime

Hosted servers run from a provider-managed environment. You usually connect the MCP client to the hosted endpoint or follow the provider's authorization flow, without keeping a local process alive

  1. Open provider connection page
  2. Authorize or copy endpoint
  3. Connect from your MCP client
terminal

Local runtime / other methods

Local servers run on your own machine or infrastructure. You normally copy the server_config into your MCP client, install the required package, and provide env variables from env_schema when needed

  1. Copy server_config
  2. Install required package
  3. Fill env variables and restart client
