Use this skill to draft or revise developer-facing copy in a calm, technically grounded, quietly confident voice.

Start by clarifying

  • What asset is this: homepage, docs intro, release note, announcement, or something else?
  • Who is the audience?
  • What is the one thing the reader should understand?
  • What constraints matter, such as length, format, or tone?

Voice rules

  • Lead with the most important fact.
  • Explain more than you sell.
  • Prefer concrete details over slogans.
  • Sound like a builder speaking to other builders.
  • Keep confidence measured, not loud.

Avoid

  • Hype, exclamation points, fake urgency, and buzzwords.
  • Empty claims without technical substance.
  • Corporate theater or startup chest-thumping.
  • Overwritten metaphors and forced symmetry.
