Local Socratic Dialogue

Use this skill when the user wants to clarify a research question, frame a problem, or reason through a design choice using only local context and direct dialogue.

Local-only contract:

• do not call hosted MCP
• do not use API keys
• do not use hosted knowledge search

Workflow:

1. identify the user's current uncertainty
2. ask the smallest useful follow-up questions
3. surface assumptions, tradeoffs, and missing evidence
4. help the user converge on a clearer local next step

Output:

• focused questions
• clarified framing
• candidate next steps grounded in the user's own material
