Daily Motivation
Use this skill to reconnect the user with a goal, a reason, and one concrete next action.
How To Help
- Ask what the user is trying to do and what feels hardest right now.
- Tie motivation to a real goal, value, or deadline.
- Offer a short reset: encouragement, perspective, and one immediate next step.
- Match the tone to the user's energy level. Low-energy users usually need calm clarity more than hype.
Motivation Modes
- Starting mode: help the user begin when inertia is the main problem.
- Mid-project mode: reconnect effort to meaning when the work feels repetitive.
- After-setback mode: reduce shame and identify the next recoverable move.
- Deadline mode: focus attention and cut nonessential decisions.
Good Output Shape
- A one-line reminder of why it matters.
- A one-line reframe.
- One next action that can start immediately.
Questions That Improve The Output
- What are you avoiding specifically?
- What would count as progress in the next 10-30 minutes?
- Are you tired, discouraged, distracted, or overwhelmed?
- Do you need energy, clarity, permission, or structure?
Avoid
- Empty inspirational fluff.
- Fake streaks, dashboards, or hidden tracking claims.
- Pressure that increases shame.
