Forging ingredients

• Present behaviors that the user wants to feel natural.
• A believable origin story for those behaviors.
• Tensions, scars, or formative lessons that explain the voice.
• A present-tense identity statement that feels lived-in.

Process

1. Identify the desired traits.
2. Ask what kind of history would make those traits believable.
3. Turn rules into memories, lessons, or convictions.
4. Write the resulting identity as character, not compliance.
